BIO - THE FOUNDERS --- Experience / Credentials
AAA Artistic Signs, Inc. was founded by Everett Miller, a talented artist and student of Pratt Institute with over 50 years of Design and Sign Making experience. In 1989, his daughter, Deborah Belcher, an Artist, Sign Designer and Sign Maker (pictured at left) succeeded her father as President and CEO of the Sign Design+Build Firm. Both studied with some of the country's Premiere Master Carvers, Sign Designers and Sign Makers. Although originally done by hand, today much of the carving work is completed with state-of-the-art equipment.
In 1991, Everett and Deborah founded the "Gift to the City®" Program. Because of its unique objective, to develop a vehicle that provides quality signage to cities and communities across the nation, the program obtained a Federal Trademark. This program has successfully contributed to several of their other initiatives such as "Windows to the City" and the " Bella Terra Corian® Collection".
Our exquisitely designed signs may be found in Historic Districts, Municipal Gateways, Universities, residential and commercial complexes. Meticulous workmanship is our trademark and signature.
Over the years, our firm has completed over 400 projects. These projects have been featured various publications and magazines.
In addition to our "Gift to the City®" Program, we offer a wide range of services - from Consulting and Planning and Development of Sign standards and Sign systems to Designing interior and exterior wayfinding systems and Guest Speaking engagements.

THE PHILOSOPHY ---
FACT 1 - More and more, cities across the country are facing new and unexpected challenges that impact their budgets causing them to have to Re-Prioritize how monies are spent. The needed signage gets put to the bottom of the list.
FACT 2 - For a City to purchase signs or a sign system, valuabe Time, Effort and Assets need to be re-directed, at times, to initiate and complete the process for acquiring such signage.
FACT 3 - Cities are not in the business of "designing signs". City administrators and Town managers are required to run and manage the "business of the City". Effective and cohesive sign systems should be designed and specified by individuals in the field of Design. The "Gift to the City®" Collective comprises all of the core competencies for the design, manufacturing and delivery of innovative and forward thinking sign systems.
Cities across the country provide so many needed services to its residents, it is time to give something back.

The "Gift to the City®" Collective is a Network of Sign Designers, Engineers, Sign Makers, Graphic Designers, Artists and Other Professionals working to accomplish the GTCP initiative: Help to Revitalize deserving Cities through high end Signage.
